Hasteloy X Alloy rod bar is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum superalloy with excellent high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance, and machinability. Alloy X rod bar has excellent resistance to oxidation at temperatures up to 2200°F. Alloy X rod bar has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking in petrochemical applications. Alloy X rod bar also has good resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, carburization, and excellent resistance to reducing or carburizing atmospheres.
